The German artist Philipp Liehr is known for his contemporary, unique wooden sculptures, which shine above all technically through his fine feeling for surface structures - such as skin, fabric or hair.
Philipp Liehr's sculptures show supposedly unspectacular, anonymous people, some of whom are dressed invisibly and others are undressing. His repertoire also includes fictional characters from the comic world, mixed creatures and animals. The everyday has always become more visible than the heroic.
His work is now on display and for sale at De KunstSalon.
